Question:
What is your policy on outdoor weddings?
Answer:
We will play outdoors if the weather is hospitable, though we prefer indoor
performances for acoustical and comfort reasons. We cannot play outside if it is
too cold. We require some sort of shade or protection from the elements,
especially the sun, which can potentially ruin the violins. Check with us about this
issue.

What will you wear?
Answer:
Our own black and white tuxedo and black dress, respectively.
Question:
What is your policy regarding special requests?
Answer:
Please send us a recording of your special request in mp3 format. We will see if
we can arrange it for two violins. You might be surprised, as it is possible to
arrange all kinds of different music! We sit down and, by hand, custom arrange the
special requests for your event. The number of requests may be limited due to
time constraints. Each special request is $100.

Can we meet in person?
Answer:
Yes, we like to meet with all of our clients over coffee at a local coffee shop. If this
is not possible due to logistical issues, please inform us. This gives us a chance to
review your musical needs. Please bring your checkbook for a down payment
(which reserves the date). Both the bride and the groom are encouraged to attend.

How does your standard package of music work?
Answer:
Please see our repertoire list for weddings under the "Services" page. We will play
all of those pieces, as they are part of the standard package. We also have several
books of additional "filler music" that works with your event should additional music
be required (i.e. the bride is late in getting out to the ceremony). You can add
special requests for $50 or can omit any pieces you really dislike.

Do you need amplification?
Answer:
As professional violinists, our instruments are top-notch and project very well.
Typically, amplification is not needed. However, if outside, amplification can only
help. We do not handle this aspect; please ask the DJ about amplification issues.
Any desired amplification must be provided by the client. Usually, if your event is
normal-sized, amplification is not needed. Indoors, we hardly ever need it.

Will you sit our stand when you play?
Answer:
We prefer to stand as we perform but sit when we are not playing (so we are not a
distraction). We ask for two chairs. We will also bring our own music stand.
